Tom Gill

Spoken Word Artist | Actor | Singer-Songwriter

Tom is a London based spoken word artist, actor and singer/songwriter originally from Salford.

Crowned UK Slam Poetry Champion in 2015, Tom mixes wordplay, wit and lyricism with original acoustic songs to create a fresh, and poignant style of storytelling.

Developing his passion for words as a resident artist at the Roundhouse in Camden, Tom has had work commissioned by Channel 4 and Sky One, as well as featuring at a number of festivals across the UK including Lovebox, Wilderness and Latitude.

His debut theatre show GROWING PAINS commissioned by Battersea Arts Centre premiered at Edinburgh Fringe 2016 to critical acclaim. After a sell out UK tour, the show is set to tour again in Spring 2018.

Tom has most recently been shooting on the feature film PETERLOO directed by BAFTA award winning Mike Leigh, as well as working on some new material of his own, which he hopes to share in the not too distant future!
