Born and raised in Salford, Tom is an award winning spoken word artist, actor and singer/songwriter now based in South London. 

Known for his poetic heart and tongue in cheek lyricism, Toms words have featured on an eclectic mix of stages, including Lovebox and Latitude Festival, Sofar Sounds, Ronnie Scott's, and the legendary Green Mill Jazz Club in Chicago. 

Crowned the UK Slam Poetry Champion in 2015, Tom developed his unique style of storytelling as resident artist at Camden's prestigious Roundhouse and has had televised spoken word pieces commissioned by Sky 1 and Channel 4.

His solo theatre show Growing Pains commissioned by Battersea Arts Centre enjoyed a sell-out run at Edinburgh Fringe Festival and was published in 2018 by Playdead Press. The "ambitious and vivid" (The Stage) production transferred to the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester, before embarking on two UK tours!

Toms poetic response to the 'All Lives Matter' hashtag in solidarity with Black Lives Matter went viral during lockdown 2020 after Davina McCall posted it to her personal instagram page. The piece featured on BBC Radio Manchester and in the Manchester Evening News as well as multiple online media platforms across the world. 

Tom was invited to perform his lockdown material at the Young Vic theatre's New Tomorrow Festival and his page poem 'Searching' was published earlier this year in Chris Holme's  Hidden in Chaos.


Tom has just released his debut indie/acoustic EP 'Shake The Taste' and will be appearing in the BBC's upcoming thriller VIGIL from the makers of Line of Duty.
